House set in woodland with a great open outdoor space to enjoy the sounds of the wood. Well equipped, we found everything we needed.Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful location just a very few miles from many good spots to visit. We are keen birders and particularly enjoyed Minsmere (of course!) and also Hen Reedbeds, Dunwich Heath and Snape Warren.

Wonderful garden and wood for children to enjoy and explore. The property had everything you could require for a week away. The privacy, peace and seclusion were an added bonus. I would recommend.

My daughter and I, plus my parents stayed, often visiting southwold (15 mins away) and enjoying the gorgeous garden : )

Brilliant location, was just what we needed, chilled, peaceful and relaxing. We had a wonderful week and would return. Such a lovely setting.

We had a very lovely stay at Gamekeepers Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and very inviting and to wake up and see and hear the sounds of nature was very magical. We would certainly recommend this place and hope to return in the near future.
