At Gamekeeper's cottage I left my nature camera viewing the bird feeder and got some excellent video clips of the Greater Spotted Woodpeckers. The one shown here is of father woodpecker feeding his son who had not yet learnt how to take the peanuts himself. We do get the Green woodpecker some times and also the lesser spotted woodpecker climbing the oak tree but the Greater Spotted was the star this time. His mate also visited to have a feed.
