Beautiful secluded house

House set in woodland with a great open outdoor space to enjoy the sounds of the wood. Well equipped, we found everything we needed.Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful location just a very few miles from many good spots to visit. We are keen birders and particularly enjoyed Minsmere (of course!) and also Hen Reedbeds, Dunwich Heath and Snape Warren.

Wonderful garden and wood for children to enjoy and explore. The property had everything you could require for a week away. The privacy, peace and seclusion were an added bonus. I would recommend.

The cottage was my home as a teenager until about 1960 so we keep it more like a home and like to share that with our guests. Over the years we have worked hard to give you modern facilities which were not there for us! We love roaming in the woodland and visiting Beccles, Southwold , Halesworth and Minsmere. Where you'll be

The Cottage is five miles from the sea at Southwold and the same distance from river facilities at Beccles and the bird sanctuary at Benacre Ness. It is within easy reach of Minsmere, Aldeburgh, and Dunwich. Freshwater, sea fishing, and golf are available in the area. Norwich and Great Yarmouth are within easy driving (35 and 25 minutes, respectively), and there are many good restaurants and pubs serving food within easy reach of the Cottage.
